PLATE BURNING

Our state of the art multiple torch plate burning machines provide both tracing and CAD capabilities. You can send us your cardboard cutouts, drawings, disks, or even e-mail your files to us at sales@kleinsteel.com. We can burn 16 GA sheet through 12" thick steel plate.

Our plasma tables burn 16 Ga. sheet through 2" stainless plate and from 16 Ga aluminum sheet through 1" thick aluminum plate. Our standard shape library is available for many of your cutting needs. We also specialize in cutting intricate non standard designs. Lead-times are generally short and we are happy to burn anywhere from one piece to 10,000 pieces.

SAWING

Our five saws can cut from 1/32" rounds through 21" beams. We strive to maintain short lead-times and one to ten piece cutting jobs can often be delivered the next day. Production runs of hundreds or thousands of cuts are also delivered promptly. Straight or miter cutting is available.

MITER SAW CUTTING

Miter cutting jobs are a specialty of Klein Steel. Angles of up to 45 degrees can be cut. Because of our expertise, customers are discovering that it's easier and more economical to let Klein Steel do their miter cutting than it is to do it themselves.

GRATING FRICTION SAWING

Your Bar Grating can be cut to size with our bar grating friction saw. Why bother using a hand-torch or hand saw to cut your own bar grating when our stock of painted, serrated and galvanized bar grating can easily be cut to size, saving you time and money.

SHEARING

Shearing from 226a to 1/2” x 12’ plate can be done promptly and accurately.

PRE-MACHINED KEYWAYS IN SHAFTS

Klein Steel starts with our premium 1045 turned ground and polished shafts for longer shafting life. We machine keyways in popular diameters so that our "Klein Keyed Shafts" are available off-the-shelf for your needs. Stocked in ½, ¾, 1, 1-1/8, 1-3/16, 1-1/4, 1-7/16, 1-1/2, 1-3/4, 1-15/16, 2, 2-7/16 and 2-15/16 diameters, bars are 10' to 12' long or available cut to size.

The next time you have a shaft break, you can buy a TGP shaft and scramble to get it keyed, OR, you can save time and money with a Klein keyed 1045 TGP shaft.
