CNC Operator - Rochester

Job Functions

  • Operate N.C. and Laser machinery to produce quality cut parts as per specifications, drawings and work instructions within standard production times.
  • Operate overhead crane and fork truck.
  • Receive material
  • Load/Unload
  • Read NC and Laser programs
  • Accurately utilize tape measure and micrometer
  • Ensure all parts are accurate to drawings and paperwork flows properly.
  • Correctly stack and tag all product
  • Debur material when necessary
  • Perform basic machine maintenance as required
  • Complete paperwork and computer data entry as required
  • Must adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Continuous performance improvement

    Qualifications

    Have a good working knowledge of laser operation. Have experience reading blue prints.

    Required

    High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient use of computer/software. 2-5 years related work experience.

    Preferred

    General knowledge of sheet metal and plate
