We invest in the latest automatic storage, plate processing and sawing technology, to include a Kasto automatic storage and retrieval system, waterjet, laser, high-performance and high-definition burning tables, automatic saws, and drilling, tapping, milling, and beveling.  Customer requirements drive business case development for new technology.

On top of all this, we are committed to continuous process improvement to drive costs out of the supply chain of Klein Steel and our customers.  Working with our customers, we identify and implement initiatives designed to reduce cycle times, eliminate inefficiencies, and achieve industry standards in lean manufacturing.  Cost saving initiatives include, and are not limited to, electronic transfer of orders, part number standardization, the generation of Kanban parts, the development of reusable packaging, product labeling, and Advance Shipping Notification to serve as invoicing with the receiving transaction.
